Co-facilitated by Galactic Ashley and Sovael Sligh, The Language of Plants is a guided, experiential gathering that invites participants into an intimate and embodied relationship with plant intelligence. Each session centers on one plant ally, introduced through context, intention, and presence. Together, we create a ceremonial container that supports listening beyond words and attuning to the subtle energetic language plants carry.
Following the introduction, participants are guided into a sound journey facilitated through live instruments and intuitive channeling. Sound is used as a bridge into altered states of awareness, supporting nervous system regulation, imaginal exploration, and deeper receptivity. Within this soundscape, participants are led through a guided meditation designed to help them sense the energetic qualities of the featured plant and to open into personal connection with its wisdom.
Rather than teaching about plants, this offering emphasizes direct relationship and inner knowing. The session concludes with a gentle integration and optional share-back circle, offering space for reflection, meaning-making, and communal witnessing. The Language of Plants weaves together sound, somatic awareness, and ceremonial presence to foster reverent connection with the living world and the intelligence that moves through it.

Instructor bios:
Sovael Sligh of Apotheca VonCoven [@apotheca_voncoven] is an artist, maker, and ritualist whose work centers on returning to the embodied wisdom of the earth. Rooted in a lineage of European magic and earth-based traditions, their practice bridges ancestral wisdom to the ever-transforming landscape of our contemporary culture.
Their offerings of plant-infused ritual sprays, altar pieces, ritual guidance, and spirit tools are crafted with deep devotion to the intelligence of sacred plants, the natural world, and the unseen forces that animate it.
They specialize in somatic, trauma-informed, and land-based therapeutic approaches. Their lived experience as a queer and trans person deeply informs their commitment to helping others find belonging within themselves and within the broader ecosystems that hold them.
Galactic Ashley [@galacticashley.activates] helps others build resilience, move through fear, embrace differences, and create paradigm-shifting change in their lives. As a Polynesian queer artist, she is committed to supporting those navigating existential crises, the shadows of sexual abuse, and the pain of disembodiment. Over the last decade, she has offered spiritual services to individuals in transition, processing grief, finding themselves in the in-between, or undergoing profound spiritual growth.
Like her ancestors, she carries an exquisite mastery of liminal spaces, inviting each of us to consider ourselves as hybrids—on the path of no arrival in the indefinite, always becoming. This Polynesian Wayfinder’s perspective guides her practice, keeping her open, curious, inventive, and welcoming.
