If you're a big feeler, an AuDHD lovebug, or an out-of-the-box entrepreneur, then chances are?
You built your personality from the outside in.
Early on, you saw how upset people got when you asked a question, or pointed out something that didn't seem right ... so you learned to be polite. Charming. You can walk into any room and instantly figure out which version of yourself is welcome. The Good Listener. The Comic Relief. The Mom of the Friend Group.
But lately you've been wondering ...
"Which versions of myself are really me, and when am I being the Best Supportive Actress in someone else's story?"
"Why do I feel soooo drained when I hang out with people? And why do I replay every interaction in my head when I'm trying to sleep ... ?"
"Am I fake? Am I ... manipulative?!"
"Will people be hurt if I start taking my mask off? Will they still like me or will I have to find all new friends? Am I annoying for caring about that? Ugh, I'm so insecure!"
" ... what do I really want for dinner?"
If this sounds like you, then you're in fabulous company on a pretty epic journey. Because it turns out? Unmasking is NOT just a matter of "finding" your real self underneath the easy-peel "fake" exterior.
(Ask me how I know ... )
In this two-hour group experience, Lizzy will talk about the different ways we hide our true selves without even realizing it, and how to start shedding the "shoulds" keeping you stuck. She'll lead a powerful EFT tapping experience, using acupressure points and compelling statements to skyrocket your confidence and inspire deeper connections in your relationships. And finally, she'll teach you how to use tapping on your own to keep exploring the layers of your gorgeous soul.
The event will be capped at 18 people, and drop-ins are welcome.
The event will cost $36
From Lizzy - I'm a relationship coach whose motto is: "Live and let THRIVE."
Basically? I help people stop stifling their "too much"ness for the sake of harmony ... and teach them how to work through differences without a tug-of-war.
I'm also a late-diagnosed AuDHD girlie. I remember the huuuge wave of clarity when I realized why it had always been SO hard for me to not like what everyone else liked without having an existential crisis ... to answer a question with the main ideas first and then all the details ... and to show people how much I love them, even if I take 5-7 business days to respond to a text.
I was so excited to OWN my neurodivergent identity. I started planning tattoos and of course, did a deep dive on unmasking. I knew exactly what to expect.
Lol
It turns out? Half of my "masks" were actually superpowers that helped me be closer to people I'm obsessed with. So it wasn't as simple as pulling a Marie Kondo on my maladaptive coping tools.
Maybe my intuition and empathy was a survival skill in the past. Maybe at first, my "special interest" in studying communication was an escape from being misunderstood in my own marriage.
But maybe I didn't need stop using those tools.
I just needed to stop hiding behind them.
So I kept researching ADHD and autism ...but I also used EFT tapping to create my own path to embracing my brain and my peeps.
And I want to share everything I know about being your real, info-dumping, "is it weird to say I'm sorry for being so weird ...?" self ... without bulldozing the people you love.
