Kristen Yates is an integrative somatic therapist, breathwork facilitator, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and ceremonial guide devoted to supporting people in coming home to themselves, deepening their capacity for authentic connection, and living with greater freedom, love, and aliveness.
With a background in psychology, trauma-informed somatic therapy, relational practices, and integrative wellness, she weaves Eastern and Western healing modalities to create grounded, compassionate, and transformative spaces for exploration and healing. Her work draws upon somatic and parts-based approaches, authentic relating, holistic bodywork, nervous system support, emotional integration, hypnotherapy, and her apprenticeship with sacred plant medicines and supporting healing through expanded states of consciousness.
She holds deep trust in the wild intelligence within all beings, and creates safe and brave spaces for people to embrace the tender parts of themselves and cultivate the courage to show up fully and authentically in relationship with themselves, with others, and with life itself.

Join us for a connective and creative evening of community spirit and inner journeying in ceremony with Cacao, Connective Practices, and somatic healing through Transformational Breathwork.
The time of the Full Moon is an energy peak, like the crest of a cosmic energy wave that's been building throughout the lunar month. It is a time of recharging and letting go of what is no longer serving us, ready to start fresh and clear with a powerful vision and intention for our lives.
November's Full Moon is a Supermoon, which amplifies the energy of our intentions and our current rhythms - making this a perfect time to come share, connect, and breathe in community
Cacao is a medicine of the heart who shows us how to open more deeply to our authentic selves. We will work with the cacao through intention-setting, partner and group connection, and guided meditation, and then explore some guided pranayama practices to release physical and energetic blockages in preparation for our transformational breathwork journey.
Transformational Breathwork helps us to deepen our inner connection, improve our physical vitality, elevate mental and emotional clarity, and awaken our spiritual connection. It works by helping you to bypass the conscious mind and move into the subtle body to access the deeper layers of emotion, while gently supporting the nervous system.
A breathwork journey is a highly effective way to move stuck energy and tap into a deeply intuitive state while remaining grounded in the body!
We will open our space by welcoming the spirit of Cacao and our helping plants for this ceremony, working with sound, guided visualization and embodiment practices to open our hearts to her medicine .
We will gently explore a few guided connective practices to support opening of the heart and dropping in deeper with our community. You may feel inspired to move, breathe, and express creatively during this time as the medicine of Cacao works her magic!
The second half of our ceremony will welcome the medicine of Breath through a Transformational Breathwork Journey. During our breathwork journey, you will lay down on your mat and be gently guided into a rhythmic breathing pattern supported by the music and my voice helping you to travel deeply into your body, allowing the breath to create space for release and renewal.
For many, the breath utilized in this way can help to release stored emotional energy that has been keeping them blocked and stagnated for years. And for many others, it is a portal to their innate wisdom and medicine within, an activation of their true essence and gifts.
Our journey will conclude with a group integration, with time for journaling and sharing insights and further support for one another.
Together we will co-create a connective and insightful experience of somatic release, heart-centered expression, and tending and nourishing your intentions for this next moon cycle.
Note: If you tend towards elevated blood pressure or have any heart issues, please contact me before the session so we can determine if this particular form of breathwork will be appropriate for you.
